Neuromuscular dentistry is more than just improving the appearance of your smile. Advances in sciences have taught us how to bring the jaw into a relaxed position to help alleviate years of pain and discomfort. Neuromuscular dentistry uses the relaxed position of the muscles of the head and neck to place the jaw into an optimal physiologic position. 25 years of research and clinical experience have shown this position to be effective in treating patients with head and neck pain.

Treatment – Our dentist will make a custom orthotic to reposition your jaw into a more physiologic resting position. This initial phase is completely reversible and allows them to stabilize your new, more comfortable bite. Once an acceptable comfort level has been reached, a decision on long term options can be made.
