I wanted to take a moment to Thank You for the courtesy and consideration extended to me at my inaugural visit to your office. In particular I am sincerely appreciative of the care and compassion you and your assistant exercised in putting me at ease. Notwithstanding the personal trauma and typical apprehension associated with the nature and scope of the services ahead of me, you respectfully acknowledged the emotion, but very patiently managed to keep the focus on the salient facts I needed to process and accept in order to formulate decisions. In addition , I genuinely appreciate that as a retiree, you recognized my financial limitations and graciously took that into consideration in determining the total fees for your services. I do not take this gesture lightly and remain truly grateful for your kindness in this regard.

Following the consultation, I was able to take the general and technical information you provided and visited a number of accredited educational websites to enhance my general knowledge with respect to endosteal mandeville endosseous implants used to support/stabilze dentures etc. It's my inquisitive nature to acquire at least a layman's understanding of how things work, particularly where they interface with the human body. I hope to learn about the integral, ongoing care knowledge necessary to prolong the effective life of any associated prosthetics prior to the procedure, so that I will understand your advice and instructions clearly.

As a member of this community, I just wanted to acknowledge your goodwill and thank you for your care and contributions, particularly on behalf of those less fortunate or in crisis.

Over the past 5 years, looking after my teeth has been low on my priority list, and when I decided to go to Dawson Dental, they were in pretty bad shape. They were so bad that for 5 years I learned how to smile, talk, and laugh without showing my teeth. I am, or should say was scared of the dentist, but the team and Dawson Dental were amazing and helped me through my silly fears. I cant say enough about how professional and genuinely caring everyone there is, they encouraged me every step of the way. The team made me feel comfortable and helped me make the right decisions for better oral health. Each week through the process they were there cheering me on, and the finished product is amazing. My teeth are white and even, and more important, they are healthy.

Its the dental clinic that feels like home. From the minute you walk through the door the warm ambiance of the décor eases any nervousness you might have about being there and it only gets better. There are no closed doors, secluded offices or half-open counter windows. There are no secret rooms with reclusive staff and no hidden archives containing details of past blood-lettings. Everybody is accessible, right there and ready with the smiles. The reception counter is aptly labeled Customer Interaction Manager. The dentist took me promptly, was more than cautious and gentle but frankly told me what she saw in my mouth and the best approach to fix it. I had questions and concerns about my new employers insurance plan coverage. The C.I.M. cheerfully and eagerly called them so she understood then explained in laymans terms to me. With the positive, cheerful attitude of the staff along with the confident expertise I left feeling exhilarated with absolutely no qualms about a follow-up visit. This is the way all customer-dependant businesses should operate!

I first came across Dawson Dental about a year ago in my search for someone to do veneers on my upper front teeth. I called a few places and got telephone consultations. I also went to one dentist who I felt didnt really know that much about veneers. So I ended up searching online and, for every search, got many hits on a place called Dawson Dental. I finally ended up calling and expected another telephone consultation on veneers . Instead, I received a great deal of useful information from the person who answered the phone, as well as an invitation to come in for a free consultation.

When I arrived at Dawson, I was immediately impressed not only with the professional surroundings of the office, but also the professionalism and knowledge of each individual who worked there. My consultation provided me with absolutely everything that I needed to know, and with all of my questions answered. Needless to say, I had Dr. Gelfand do my veneers, which turned out even better than I had anticipated. I have received numerous compliments on my beautiful teeth, with some of those compliments coming from complete strangers. Given my satisfaction with the work at Dawson Dental, I then asked about straightening my lower teeth, and I received a thorough consultation (again) about Invisalign braces. I shoes to go through the process and now have straight lower teeth.

I like the friendly staff most. I have never been treated rudely, or even indifferently by any member of your staff at Dawson Dental North. Smiles, friendly greetings and quick, genuine responses are always the norm!

I used to hide my smile or avoid smiling. Some of my teeth hurt, many teeth were missing. I was extremely apprehensive about starting to get work done because I knew it would take a long time. I also did not look forward to having freezing put in on a regular basis. The staff made me feel very comfortable - let me know what to expect at each visit and "cuddled" me a bit when I felt overwhelmed. Everyone took good care of me. Now, I smile more than I have to! I don't have thought about people looking at my ugly teeth rather than listening to what I am saying. The cosmetic part of the work was well worth all the appointments! I just got my partial plate so I'll have to get used to it - but I'm looking forward to chewing like a person instead of all at the front, like a rabbit. When they told me I was "finished", I had a smile from ear to ear! I'll come for regular "maintenance" but my new look should last a lifetime.

After having my entire life of an unsightly smile, I decided in my 50's to do something about it. I took a chance and came to see the amazing group at Dawson Dental Centre. From the moment I walked in the door, I was impressed by the unsurpassed professionalis, but more so, by the extremely friendly, caring and supportive staff. This is the first time that I wasn't afraid to sit in the dentist chair!

About 12 years ago now, I was diagnosed with a medical condition called sleep apnea. It started with constant snoring and progressed to my stopping breathing up to 19 times an hour during sleep. Since that time, I have tried everything from CPAPs, a machine that assists in regulating breathing at night, to surgery in an effort to control this condition. Five years ago now, I came to Dr. Gelfand, to get fitted for a dental appliance. This device allows for my bottom jaw to be moved forward slightly when the appliance is in place and increases the open-air passage during sleep. This appliance has completely stopped my snoring and has worked to stop my "stop breathing condition" to a manageable 6 times per hour. I am 49 years old and in fairly good physical condition. For me, this device has improved my sleeping and has allowed me to lead a normal active life without the side- effects that the sleep apnea brought on. Thank you Dr. Gelfand and staff!

Initially, I came to see Dr. Gelfand after having received your flyer in the mail. I had not seen my previous dentist for almost three years. I was very unhappy after having been with the same dentist for almost twenty years. I had lost several teeth over the years and almost never smiled. I called Dr. Gelfand and arranged for a consultation. During the visit, Dr. Gelfand discussed several options with me and advised me of the cost and time involved with each option. He assured me that I could have a beautiful smile and would never have to be ashamed of my teeth again. The consult was done at no charge and Dr. Gelfand impressed me a great deal with his professionalism and his kindness. After several months, I have finally achieved the results I had hoped for and the results far exceeded my expectations. I am so excited that they offer Invisalign! I've been told elsewhere that I am not a candidate, but Dr. Gelfand confirmed that I am. Now I can get invisible braces without anyone even noticing!
