What is Involved in Getting Porcelain Veneers?
First, your teeth are prepped and impressions are taken. Temporary veneers are placed until your custom veneers return from the lab (approximately two weeks). Your custom veneers are then bonded to your tooth. Veneers are individually hand-made by our lab, instead of using a machine. If you maintain your oral health as instructed by your dentist and hygienist, veneers are guaranteed for five full years from the date of application.
Can I Treat Them Like Regular Teeth?
Porcelain veneers do require some special attention. They aren’t recommended for people who have severe grinding issues or who suffer from extensive bite problems. They don’t take kindly to nail-biting or opening bobby pins, and they need diligent at-home cleaning to stay looking good as new.
What if I don’t want to alter the structure of my teeth?
