Update: 2024 - I totally disagree with the previous review. Dawson Dental Aurora is amazing. Always have great friendly and service with a smile. The front desk staff are always professional and willing to help. I am very happy with the service I receive. Dr. Meyer is so gentle and caring. She always talks to you in a professional manner and explains everything. Lara is an amazing Assistant so caring. The Christina Laura and Vanessa at the front desk make me smile every time I go in. Dawson Dental Aurora is the best dentist I have been to. I highly recommend them.

I've been a patient at Dawson Dental Aurora for 10+ years now and I have been incredibly pleased with the level of care and service that they provide so much so that I continue to make the drive up here from Scarborough instead of looking for a closer dentist. Antoinette is a fantastic dental hygienist and all of the staff are all kind friendly and helpful. Scheduling regular appointments has always been easy and they were even able to help me with an emergency appointment when I needed it. Highly recommended!

If you have avoided getting your teeth cleaned because of fear make an appointment with Antoinette at Dawson Dental in Aurora. I am so thankful I found her. I didn't go to the dentist for years because I was terrified. Antoinette makes you feel comfortable she's professional and gets the job done. She doesn't make you feel silly for being an adult and afraid of the dentist office. She can never leave.

PSA: LOOK NO FURTHER FOR INVISALIGN TREATMENT! After quoting around in Aurora/Newmarket for Invisalign I decided on Dawson because of the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Meyer and her team! Throughout the 1.5 years of my trays the office was patient and commited to getting me the exact results I wanted to see. I would 10/10 recommend for anyone considering ortho work in the area.

Everything worked out perfectly well: I was reminded about the appointment was greeted and settled in the chair seconds after I entered the office explained the procedure. All my questions were answered. The procedure went quickly and smoothly the personnel was extremely nice and patient with me. Service was absolutely wonderful!! My mom's issue was solved in 2 visits as compared to her other option that would have cost her 35x more including surgery. Dawson Dental problem solved the situation with an acrylic partial and I haven't seen my mom smile so much in so long!! Thanks a million ladies!!

Dr. Jo-Anne Meyer is a General Dentist at Dawson Dental Aurora in

Dr. Meyer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1994. She completed a one year residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC and was in a private practice in Harare, Zimbabwe before immigrating to Canada in 2001. She has been practicing dentistry with Dr. Gelfand since that time and is now a full partner at Dawson Dental – Newmarket Davis Dr. & Aurora. Dr. Meyer has been a resident of Newmarket since immigrating to Canada and is married with two children.
