What is Orthodontic Treatment?
Orthodontics focuses on correcting misaligned teeth and jaws to improve both function and appearance. Whether you’re considering Invisalign® clear aligners or traditional braces, the right treatment depends on your unique needs.
At your complimentary consultation, our team will examine your teeth, discuss your goals, and recommend a personalized treatment plan to help you get the results you want — often improving how you chew, speak, and clean your teeth, along with boosting your confidence.
Your mouth changes a lot during orthodontic treatment, but knowing what to expect and having a supportive team make the journey easier. At Dawson Dental, we’re with you every step of the way.
Book an Appointment
We invite you to book an appointment so we can better understand your dental concerns, explore treatment options, and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your best smile!
Why You Shouldn’t Delay Orthodontic Care
- Healthier gums: Properly spaced teeth are easier to brush and floss, reducing the chance of pockets that trap bacteria.
- Better hygiene: Aligned teeth help lower the risk of plaque buildup, decay, and gum disease.
- Less wear and tear: Straight teeth reduce the risk of chipping, cracking, and uneven tooth wear. They also reduce stress on your jaw joints and muscles.
Have you met iTero?
The iTero Impression Scanner allows our dentists to digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your teeth and gums.
This is done using a small wand which is moved around your mouth to create 3D dental impressions of your bite in minutes. The small design of the wand allows us to scan hard-to-reach places in the back of your mouth.
These images may reveal red areas or 'hot spots' where you’re grinding or clenching your teeth, usually due to a misaligned bite. Our Dawson Dental dentists will be able to diagnose any orthodontic issues and develop a custom treatment plan for you.
