Meet Dr. Saif Matti, a dedicated and experienced general dentist. Dr. Matti graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Western University – Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2022. He then went on to complete a hospital residency at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington and has been practicing dentistry since then.
Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, Dr. Matti is committed to continuous professional development and routinely undertakes advanced education in dental procedures.
Dr. Matti has received training in nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) administration, oral sedation, intravenous (IV) sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), offering you a variety of sedation modalities to choose from if you have dental anxiety. Among other skill sets, Dr. Matti is trained in oral surgeries, including wisdom teeth extractions, surgical extractions and implant placement. He also has extensive experience in performing basic dentistry procedures such as fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment and pediatric procedures.
Dr. Matti is involved in serving our local and provincial community. He has served on the Hospital Services Committee of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and is currently the Political Contact Dentist for the Bay of Quinte area, serving as a liaison between the Ontario Dental Association and the provincial government. He is also a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and the Canadian Dental Association (CDA).
Dr. Matti’s advocacy work extends to his deep care and compassion for his patients. He believes in building long-term relationships through trust, education, and gentle care. Known for a calm and approachable manner, Dr. Matti takes pride in helping patients feel at ease and fully informed about their oral health. His approach combines modern techniques with a strong emphasis on prevention and personalized treatment.
In his free time, Dr. Matti enjoys cycling, weight training and spending time with his partner Charlotte who is also a local doctor in the area.
