When I visit DAWSON DENTAL IN KINGSTON ON QUEEN STREET I feel like I’m visiting cherished friends. I am a patient of DR. HARSH VANKAWALA and I look forward to my appointments with him and the amazing team of HYGIENISTS. Every one in the office goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. And they discuss everything in advance with you. Recently I found myself needing a root canal. I was very sore and swiftly treated with antibiotics firstly. Then once the infection in my tooth and surrounding tissues was treated I attended a few appointments for the root canal. Due to my nervousness and anxiety of never having a root canal done before the staff explained everything up front. Dr. Harsh Vankawala even put on some cool 😎 tv for me to watch during the procedure. They take the stress out of everything and provide first class service to any and everyone! I was told prior to the procedure that DR. HARSH IS “THE GURU OF ROOT CANALS!” This really put me at ease because I knew that the person taking care of me was really excellent with performing this type of treatment. The person that told me this was 💯percent right! If you are someone that is scared of needles have no worries because DR. HARSH VANKAWALA is extraordinary with needles. He has a special technique and you don’t even feel the pinch at all😉☺️😁♥️🦷🥳👍😎🙏🏽 The rest of the root canal was easy peasy! No stress. No anxiety no worries at all!   • I would normally never think to write a review based on a dental experience but here goes: I’ve been a patient at this office for years. The staff is super kind and friendly. I have dental anxiety and I hate the freezing most often I opt out of the freezing when I get any work done (crazy I know). I called today due to a tooth ache that has been ongoing and they were able to get me in right away to take a look. Sure enough I needed to replace a filling. As someone with anxiety this was my worst nightmare. Dr Alex and his assistant were so kind and patient with me today during the procedure. They kept checking in to make sure that I was ok which didn’t go unnoticed. I am a 35 year old woman that has literal anxiety attacks over the dentist and it can be quite humiliating. They did everything they could to answer all of my (irrational) questions and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. Dr Alex was super caring and knowledgeable he went the extra mile today by even calling this evening to see how I was doing. I will forever be loyal to this dental office and thanks so much Dr Alex & your assistant your kindness did not go unnoticed.

  • I visited Dawson dental on Queen Street in Kingston Ontario today and spoke with a Pleasant female dentist about my future oral health and possible future procedures. She is the third dental professional I had spoken with in the past six months In the surrounding area. When I left I have to say. It was the first time I had ever left a dentist office feeling that I had a real heart-to-heart conversation about my Oral health. We discussed about possible implants permanent and non-permanent and different things causing my dental condition and options that I would be able to move forward with. I felt she was there to work with me. What would be best for me without considering what was best for the books? So it was a real discussion about what was going to happen in my future with my dental care. When I left there I felt that I had actually spoken to someone that carried about my concerns and fears and whether or not I really needed to have certain work done or could something else be done to preserve my teeth. All I can say is that after I left I felt more informed and I had more options and felt good about the future of my oral health. I will be going back!

  • I have been a long time patient of Dawson dental. From when I was a little kid to now 22 years old. I have had probably over 100 visits throughout the years and an extensive amount of various work done. Whether I come in frustrated anxious or excited to get some dental work done. Out of all the years I've been there I have spoke with several different dentists but I ALWAYS have been greeted with a smile from Danielle at the front desk. 90% of the time she is the first one I see and the last person I see when I leave. And based on that alone it's good to know how welcome I am at Dawson Dental.

  • These folks are great! I got an abscess tooth just before a holiday. They took me in quickly gave me the antibiotics I needed and scheduled a root canal. So quick and easy and friendly! I've had root canals before and wasn't looking forward to that at all. The doctor was very knowledgeable and kind. And then... no pain. Whaat!! I guess they used the newest technology but boy was I impressed. And then when the assistant noticed I was chilly she got me a heated blanket and tucked it around me. Heavenly! I can't say enough about the office and the people there. Thank you all SO much!

  • I love Dawson Dental! They akways take time to be diligent and take excellent care ofme and my whole family! As a family we've all had routine checkups and cleanings and we couldn't be happier with the continuing support friendliness knowledge and caring of the staff. I know a trip to the dentist isn't always the best part of the day but from the office manager right through to the dentists themselves the entire staff goes the extra mile to make it the best possible experience and truly makes the dental experience as pleasant and painless as possible. Highly recommended!

  • I had a wonderful experience with Dr Harsh Vankawala. I had a root canal done and I was so nervous. I heard horror stories about root canals. But he was so wonderful and calming and made sure I was ok every step of the way. I felt no pain from the freezing needles to the actual root canal and the building of the tooth. He removed my fear of the dentist and I’m actually looking forward to going back to get my other tooth fixed. My 10 year old daughter has been going there for years and has had a great experience every time too so they are great for kids and adults.

  • I went in for an emergency visit and the whole team was amazing. The admin team got me within the hour and Dr. Pervez fixed the issue and set me up for a single day appointment to replace some broken implants. She was informative easy to talk with and even though she fit me in on a busy day she still took the time to discuss the options and procedures and made my first experience with Dawson stress free.

  • What an absolutely wonderful team. The service is both professional and relaxed which to my absolute avoidance of any dentist work makes the entire process simple and effectively painless. The magnanimous staff are pleasant and accommodating and in their hands I have little doubt that not only will I have a great experience (all things considered) but also leave feeling very content and satisfied.
