I was then introduced to my incredible gentle and thorough lovely Hygienist Jordanna. She explained every step of the appointment with knowledge and expertise. Then in came Dr. Mark a wonderful gentle knowledgeable Dentist. He made getting fillings fun alongside his wonderful assistant Nahit. She constantly checked to see how i was doing through the procedure and letting me know what was coming next. It was the best experience I've ever had in a Dental clinic. Each and every Team member treated me and every patient with kindness knowledge patience and respect from the moment you step foot in the door!! I am 73. I've neglected my 'smile' for an embarassingly long time as a result of some extremely terrifying childhood dentist experiences. I have finally faced my fears with the incredible team of caring gentle understanding professional and encouraging support people at Dawson Dental in Newmarket. They have taken me slowly (over 6 months in consultations) through the process that has put me in surgery to replace my old worn broken infected and missing teeth. I am so incredibly pleased and grateful. If you fear dental work I strongly recommend heading to Dawson Dental. Dr Gelfand and Jessica are amazing. I can't say enough great things about my experience at Dawson Dental Newmarket especially with my hygienist Jordanna. I tend to get really nervous during dental appointments but Jordanna is absolutely incredible. She goes above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable and relaxed every time. She explains everything thoroughly which really helps ease my nerves. Her gentle and caring approach makes all the difference and I truly appreciate the extra time and effort she puts in to ensure a positive experience. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience with everyone at the Newmarket dental office. I called in as an emergency because I had a cracked filling causing me pain. The staff was incredibly accommodating and managed to schedule me for a last-minute appointment the same day. The doctor the assistant and the ladies at the front desk were all very pleasant and professional. I apologize for not mentioning anyone by name but I truly appreciate the exceptional care and service I received.

My husband and I have been coming since they opened. We actually enjoy going to the dentist. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I go to Leanne who is fantastic and has a gentle touch. My husband goes to Ann Marie who is so funny and sweet. We would both not hesitate to go to any of the hygienist. I go to Dr. Habid he is gentle and funny. Donna is also very competent and makes you feel at ease. The office staff are also excellent.

Wonderful staff! Put my anxiety to ease from the moment I walked through the door! Walked me through every procedure and made sure that I was comfortable at all times. (I almost dozed off!) Pretty cool 3D scan of my teeth and 360 x-ray too. Processed both my insurance plans and saved me from being out of pocket $$ and needing to file extra paperwork. Highly recommended.

Dr. Braude and her team have done such an amazing job doing a full overhaul on my teeth. An old dentist has left a unique job incomplete so fixing the original job was a challenge that they took on confidently. They have been patient and consistent as well as great surgical referrals provided. I love my teeth and am very happy with the results they gave to me.

Ashley made us all feel safe and comfortable while getting our cleaning done.. she was excellent. My family and I have been going to this dentist for years. These women are so lovely. Our hygienist is Jordana and she is an absolute treasure of a human being. We have worked through kids being nervous and had various treatments and we honestly all always enjoy our time at Dawson Dental. Could not reccomend it enough.

Dr. Volker Stein is a General Dentist at Dawson Dental - Newmarket in

Dr. Volker Stein received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. After a short associate-ship, Dr. Stein set up his own general practice in Newmarket and was joined in 1972 by Dr. Taylor. During the first 10 years of practice he was active in the local and provincial Dental Society executives. He was a surgical staff member at Southlake Regional Health Centre for 20 years, the last five as Chief of Dental Services, Surgery. Dr. Stein lives in Aurora with his wife Oksana. He has two sons, Alexander and Christian. He enjoys golfing, skiing and reading during leisure time.
